VERB TO BE
Singular:
First person singular        I        + am
Second person singular  You  + are
Third person singular       He   + is
Third person singular       She + is
Third person singular       It      + is

Plural:
First person plural            We   + are
Second person plural      You   + are
Third person plural           They + are

 Positive form: Present Simple with verb to be (am/is/are)


           Subject + am/is/are + complement

          1. Kim Sovanny    is    a student(Singular subject + singular verb)

          2. She     is     a student.

Note: (aux) = auxiliary verb
           (mv)  = main verb

Use:
The verb “to have” implies the meaning of possession.
For example: “I have a job.” “I have a car.“ "I don't have any time."
In this form it does not take the continuous form (for that you have to use the auxiliary verb be).
For example: “I am having a shower.” “Are you having a good time?"
